The Pomeranian Offshore Wind Conference is a continuation of the Pomeranian Offshore Networking Platform held in 2016 and 2017. PWEA was reluctant to suspend the promotion of knowledge about the potential for offshore wind energy development and the benefits it may bring to the Polish economy, in particular in Pomerania. Therefore, together with Business Club Szczecin we decided to organise the Pomeranian Offshore Wind Conference.

The two-day event is to endow the participants with knowledge about:

  • the place of offshore wind energy in the Polish energy mix
  • the draft spatial development plan for Polish maritime areas
  • the assumptions to the Offshore Wind Energy Act
  • supply chain value and preparation of ports for the purposes of offshore wind farm construction and operation

Furthermore, the Conference will be a perfect opportunity to establish new business contacts.
